Big sister songs for a hurting generation
Mary mixes more original heartland rock and country blues with some bluegrass in this show. Her masterful work on all six instruments with her heartfelt story songs reach deep into the hearts of young adults to inspire and encourage them to become all they can be.
Some of Mary’s original rock songs such as “Teenage Runaway”, “Moonlight in Her Eyes” and “The Ally Beside You” are helpful to teens and young adults struggling with depression, homelessness, thoughts of suicide or temptations to use drugs to cope. Mary’s endearing introductions, inspirational songs and “big sister” words of encouragement are uplifting to all, and well suited for university campus theaters.
