Hi Everyone!
It’s been an exciting and productive year, and I’m so grateful to be making great progress on my new album, Blonde Girl Blues.
One major milestone was organizing all the tracks for the mixing process — a huge project that wouldn’t have been possible without the help of the incredibly talented Jeremy Oswin of Chimney Sweep Music here in Northeast Washington State, USA. Jeremy’s expertise and dedication have been invaluable throughout this process.
I’m also deeply honored to have renowned mixing engineer Sefi Carmel working on the album from London. Sefi has worked with artists including Phil Collins, Tina Turner, Bruno Mars, David Bowie, B.B. King, Michael Bublé, and Ed Sheeran — just to name a few! His experience and guidance have helped Jeremy and I bring out the very best in every instrument and vocal track. I truly can’t wait for you all to hear the finished album!
I wrote all 10 songs on the upcoming record and played many of the instruments myself, including violin, accordion, banjo, keyboards, acoustic and slide guitars, mandolin, harmonica, and more. I’m also fortunate to have some wonderful guest musicians joining the project, along with my fantastic bandmates Martin Rush, Brad Stoll, and Steve Bache.
In addition to working on the album, I’ve been building my new YouTube channel, the “Mary Wiles Official Artist Channel,” and have already released three new videos this year! My goal is to create a video for each of the 20 songs from my previous two albums, so be sure to subscribe to my channel and follow along as new videos are released.
